CRM of 240 is equal to 120 Hz refresh rate (it is not 60Hz as it says on the main product page) so you will not see any blurring during fast moving action content and the fast movement performance is much better than standard 60HZ refresh rate TV’s. You would choose a 4K UHD TV rather than a FHD if you want to see some of the clearest images with the most vibrant colors and more detail, for example if you take professional photos, this TV would be great for viewing or showing off your photos in the best way possible. It offers great upscaling and if you have those HD channels or stream video online from HD sources, you will see the difference even from 15 feet away or just very close to the screen- you will see all the details with amazing colors.
The colors and appearance of objects and people on this TV are so great that you may find yourself watching shows and programs that you don’t normally watch (like some happy customers reported). Currently there is not a lot of 4K content out there so it wouldn’t be the main purpose of getting this TV but the fact that you can upscale FHD to 4K UHD with Samsung’s Quadratic Picture Engine- UHD Up-scaling Engine and there is not much difference with the original/native 4K content- upscaled image is almost as good. This Samsung TV set is really really good for how much it costs- picture quality of 4K UHD resolution, Smart Hub features with a quad core processor, one of the strongest contrast levels at this price level.
Many other similar TV sets comes with only dual core processor and with this one you get a proper internet browser, Smart View 2.0, S-Recommendation, Screen Mirroring, Smart Interaction etc. and a few other apps as well as the ability to download lots of other content and applications- free or paid. For sound, it has the DTS Premium Sound 5.1 for immersive surround sound with dialogue clarity, maximum bass response rate and consistent volume and down firing 2 x 10 watts stereo speakers. It has quite a competitive price for all that it is and all that it offers- features, specs and quality, we like the UHD Dimming and Ultra Clear Panel, the fact that it has a quad core processor for better Smart TV experience and not dual and the CRM of 240 is great for fast movement. On the other hand this is not a TV with 3D capabilities, side viewing angle is not the best. It is a great value Smart LED TV with 4K UHD resolution overall for how much it costs.
