It is tested, certified and refurbished by Dell so it feels and looks like brand new including the original accessories along with a 90 day warranty and customer support. It is suitable for home entertainment use or for professionals and students and will add to their productivity. Dell Inspiron 15-5545 includes the quad core AMD Elite A10-5745M processor (4MB cache) at 2.1 GHz base frequency up to 2.9 GHz with turbo feature but without the hyper threading as it already functions on four cores, 8GB DDR3L SDRAM memory (1x8GB) at 1600MHz, 1 TB SATA Hard Drive at 5400rpm spindle speed and Windows 8.1 64-bit English OS that is eligible for the very near future upgrade to Windows 10 in 2015.

Conclusion: Dell Inspiron 15-5545 is an easy to set up and use type of mobile computer that boots up fast, runs fast overall, loads web pages faster and gives you some gaming and multimedia performance with the AMD Radeon GPU at a similar level with the Intel HD 4600. Although you can’t play the latest games at the highest settings, you can comfortably work with the apps that require power as the performance is on par with the Intel i3-2310M, you can multitask very efficiently with 8GB memory and you can switch between apps smoothly. 1024GB SATA hard drive is a lot of storage space for your songs, videos or regular files- most people wouldn’t need more. It stays cool even after several hours of use and like the other Dell laptops it is tested for durability and reliability (keys, touchpad, buttons, extreme heat, twisting and turning, hinges) and you’ll appreciate how solid it feels. Windows 8 or 8.1 is not the best but not much time left till the first release date of Windows 10- end of July 2015. So to sum it up, we have average sound, decent graphics, speed and medium to high overall performance, nice looks, robust build, long battery life, ease of use and great price partly because of being a certified refurbished unit.
