HP ENVY m6-w103dx is a 2-in-1 360 degree rotating flip and fold design 15.6 inch Full HD touchscreen laptop with the sixth generation power efficient ultra low voltage dual core Skylake i5-6200U processor (3MB cache) at speeds of 2.3 to 2.8GHz with Intel turbo boost and hyper threading for smart four-way processing power, 8GB DDR3L SDRAM at 1600MHz to smoothly run several apps and browsers simultaneously- advanced multitasking of multimedia editing applications and running your games, 1TB Serial ATA hard drive at 5400rpm spindle speed for standard read and write times as ample storage for all your photos, music and videos with HP 3D Drive Guard 6 for shock resistance and Windows 10 operating system that was released in late September 2015. 15.6 inch Full HD power efficient LED backlit touchscreen laptop with finger-touch navigation has the 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution for great clarity, sharpness and beautiful colours and IPS technology panel for larger viewing angles horizontally and vertically. Graphics card is the built-in Intel HD 520 with shared video memory which is adequate for daily internet surfing, multimedia editing and basic non-demanding gaming. It comes with a decent HP Truevision HD webcam with dual-array digital microphone and two integrated stereo speakers by Bang and Olufsen for rich, loud, clear and immersive sound. Windows 10 has some pretty good reviews unlike the previous Windows 8 and 8.1 and people seem to like seeing the familiar Windows 7 Start screen and enjoy its other new features like Cortana digital assistant and the new Edge browser and stability.

HP ENVY m6-w103dx is has aluminium finish on the lid and palmrest, weighs a little over 5 pounds due to the weight of touch display and is 0.94 inch thin (15 x 9.9 x 0.94 inches) with no DVD drive, can be used in four modes of laptop, media presentation stand, tent and tablet with its 360 degree flip and fold design. If you have more stuff than what the massive 1TB can accommodate or if you want to access your files on different devices, then you have access to the HP Connected Drive or Dropbox with the integrated cloud. It has a full size illuminated- backlit ergonomic keyboard to type comfortably in dim light or dark with 10-key numeric pad and a large and functional HP ImagePad touchpad that supports multiple gestures and 3-cell prismatic 48 WHr lithium ion battery which is not very big but this is also quite an energy efficient mid-range processor with a Passmark benchmark score of 3600 and Thermal Design Power of 15 watts so you can expect decent battery life of up to 8-9 hours according to the HP website (info for all Envcy x360 15 series model laptops). There is no DVD Optical Drive but a good range of connectivity including 802.11ac wireless with up to three times faster speed and wider coverage, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, Bluetooth 4.0 to connect with other Bluetooth enabled units wirelessly, 2 x USB 3.0 ports for quicker data transfers and one of them with HP USB Boost for charging purposes, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI output to connect to an HDTV or another monitor, a Multi-in-1 Media Card Reader and a Headphone and Microphone combo. Warranty is the standard one year for parts and labor by HP- same as pretty much all laptops.
