The VIZIO SB3820-C6 is a 38 inch 2.0 channel sound bar that is small in size but is capable of offering great virtual full-range surround sound with its two 2.75 inch drivers at a budget price. The 29 inch SB2920-C6 model is 95 decibels and doesn’t have the Dolby Digital Technology of the 38 inch model and the drivers are smaller at 2.5 inches (2.75 inch for 38 inch model) and the passive radiators can get to 60Hz instead of 70Hz. They come with the integrated Bluetooth and lets you conveniently stream sound from Bluetooth enabled mobile devices- your MP3 player and mobile phone. There is a subwoofer output at the back of the unit to help achieve the low bass impact by hooking up an optional subwoofer.
Vizio SB3820-C6 looks stylish and modern- looks good, is compact in size with measurements of 38 x 3 x 3 inches, weighs just 5.75 pounds and is a great addition to small to medium TV’s- suitable for 42 inches and up. 2.0 channel sound bar is offered with two great full-range stereo speakers for enhanced great quality sound. You will get the mounting brackets if you wish to mount the unit on a wall but it can also be comfortably placed on your table. You can have the TV volume all the way up and you will not notice any distortion and this is something to really appreciate considering the low price point. Sound quality is really good for such a small investment, whether you get the 38 inch or the 29 inch model depending on your needs and you will most certainly get better, crisper and richer sound than the regular TV speakers. Vizio is a good brand for televisions and sound bars and you’ll find that their products tend to be reliable, durable and functional. But for that very deep and clear bass you will need that additional subwoofer and still expect to hear that theater or concert hall like sound that is also rather clear at lower volumes.
