Samsung HW-J450 is a 2015 model 2.1 Channel configuration (Dolby Digital and DTS 2-channel audio) and 300 Watt total power 37 inch wireless soundbar with integrated speakers and an external 6.5 inch wireless active ported bass reflex subwoofer with powerful and rich bass for a great realistic home entertainment (140 watts to the subwoofer and the 2 x 80 watts per channel to the Soundbar) and lets you add impressive dynamic sound with surround sound expansion so you feel the depth, spaciousness and power to whatever sound system setup you may already have.
Black Samsung HW-J450 is relatively inexpensive for the build quality, durability, functionality, ease of set-up and user friendliness and is suitable for flat screen televisions that are 40 inch and larger. It is a lightweight, compact (small footprint) and a clutter-free (wireless) plug and play type home entertainment system that can be used both on tabletop and is also wall mountable (includes the mounting hardware). The main sound bar unit weighs 3.6 pounds with measurements of 37.7 x 2.3 x 2.6 inches and the subwoofer weighs 10.1 pounds and measures 7.1 x 14.2 x 11.8 inches. All you do is plug in the sound system (both the soundbar and subwoofer) and synchronise them with your latest model HDTV’s. With the SoundConnect you will watch your shows and movies and listen to your music by directly connecting to the 2013 and later model compatible Samsung televisions.
Extensive connectivity options include a USB port (USB Host Support to play songs from your external USB devices), WiFi, Bluetooth, an HDMI-In and Out to transmit digital audio and video via a single HDMI cable to an external display- an ARC (Audio Return Channel) compliant TV, an Optical and a 3.5mm inputs. With the Bluetooth Power on feature you can control the unit from your other Bluetooth enabled devices wirelessly by just choosing the HW-J450 on their screen and turn it on automatically for a smooth home entertainment experience. There is also the Samsung Audio Remote App for Android devices that you can download and control the soundbar from any of your mobile devices including your smart phone, tablet or MP3 player. It may be small in size and light in weight but the sound is big!
Subwoofer also has a cable-less design and does not need wires to communicate with the main soundbar so you are free to put it wherever you wish. Depending on what you’re doing on your HDTV you can choose from one of the several sound effects like Voice, Music, Cinema, Sports, Night and Standard modes. Remote control provided is multi-functional and lets you do a variety of things by just pressing a button. It looks great, is super easy to install, offers great sound for the power, price and compact size, comes with great connectivity options (and Bluetooth works well), shuts off automatically after no activity for about quarter of an hour.
