Dell Latitude 7000 E7450 UltraBook Laptop

Dell Latitude 7000 E7450 is a modern and compact professional style ultrabook with a 14 inch Full HD touchscreen, a fifth generation power efficient Intel i5 processor, a backlit keyboard, a good size SSD and memory, decent connectivity options and a very generous warranty valid until 2019. Technical specs include the ultra low voltage dual core Intel i5-5300U processor (3MB L2 cache) at 2.3 to 2.9GHz speed with turbo boost and a current Passmark benchmark score of 3752, 8GB (1x8GB) DDR3 SDRAM memory for the power to run a few apps and programs simultaneously and that can be upgraded to 16GB if needed by advanced users, 256GB Solid State Drive for storage size, speed and overall performance and Windows 10 64-bit Pro version with familiar and new user-friendly features and faster start-ups.

14-inch LED-backlit FHD touch display has the 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and corning gorilla glass and the picture quality is very good- sharp, clear, decent contrast and great colors. Graphics card is the built-in Intel HD 5500 with better overall performance than both the Intel HD 4000 and 5000 and you’ll be able to play some of the latest game titles at low settings. The keyboard is backlit for you to type easily in the dark or dim light and is spill-proof if you ever happen to spill liquid into the keyboard by accident. It is made with some premium materials, has a durable magnesium alloy chassis and LCD back (chassis is put through some vigorous military grade testing), a woven carbon fiber design with the Corning Gorilla Glass NBT touch display. Dell Latitude E7450 weighs 3.23 pounds and measures 13.19 x 9.13 x 0.76 inches- is lightweight, slim and portable. It is promoted as the most secure notebook and comes with some of the best security features of Dell Data Protection, such as malware prevention, advanced authentication, and comprehensive encryption.

It doesn’t include a built-in DVD/CD Drive but you can easily connect an external one as they are low in price, but comes with some interesting variety of connectivity options including 3 x USB 3.0 ports for much faster transfer of data, Dell Wireless 1707 802.11bgn WiFi and BlueTooth v4.0, Ethernet with RJ-45 connector, an HDMI output, a mini DisplayPort (supports dual displays), an SD 4.0 Memory Card Reader, a Headset jack, SIM port, Dockstation Port, Security cable lock and an AC port (no fingerprint reader). Although this is not the latest Latitude on the market, it is still quite new and costs much less and the extended 3-year warranty adds awesome value to this already very solid and sturdy, fast, powerful, lightweight and compact machine with some advanced features. The Q1 2015 release Intel i5-5300U processor and 8GB memory will run some memory intensive tasks quite efficiently and without lagging. A very good value ultrabook that we do not hesitate to recommend, and you can certainly expect some of the best customer support from Dell.
