Dell Inspiron i5559-4682SLV is a new release 15.6 inch Signature Edition laptop with high end features for both better home entertainment and work efficiency, like the 6th generation processor, Full HD touch display, Intel RealSense 3D camera and backlit keyboard at a low price- in fact it may be one of the lowest priced FHD laptops on the market. It includes the latest Skylake Intel 5-6200U processor (3MB cache) at 2.30GHz speed at 1866MHz up to 2.80GHz with turbo boost, 8GB DDR3L SDRAM at 1600MHz to be able to run several programs simultaneously, 1TB Serial ATA HDD hard drive storage at 5400rpm rotating speed and Windows 10 operating system that boots up fast with brand new user friendly features like Cortana Personal Assistant and Microsoft Edge browser. Silver matte solid plastic chassis Inspiron 15 i5559 is lightweight enough despite having a touchscreen at 5.36 pounds and slim with measurements of 14.96 x 0.94 x 10.25 inches. Keyboard is backlit, keys feel comfortable, has a 10 key numpad and a 105x80mm Precision touchpad. There is no SSD for fast overall performance and boot ups and shut downs and there is space for a single drive but you can remove the HDD and put an SSD. This is a Signature Edition laptop so there should be no or very minimal junkware that you need to remove. Microsoft Edge is new for many people and at first sight it seems to be only slightly different from Internet Explorer. First set-up seems to have taken a bit of time for one of the customers but they are still very positive about this computer. It is fast and powerful performance of the Intel i5-6200U processor with a benchmark score of 3915 as of now and 8GB memory and gets the job done for both work and entertainment. You can multitask very smoothly and efficiently with the generous 8GB memory and save all your files on its 1024GB HDD storage and you will still have plenty of space left. Intel RealSense 3D webcam is new for us too and seems to be quite useful as a gesture controlled device as it lets you run your computer without touching anything by using your head, hand and finger movements and play games in 3D. Ultra low voltage processor helps with extended battery life from its 4-cell lithium ion battery of about 5-6 hours in light use and you can run it for hours with several browsers and programs open and will still stay cool. It is a great value computer overall.
