Dell Inspiron i3650 Flagship High Performance Desktop

2016 Newest Dell Inspiron i3650 Flagship High Performance Desktop

2016 model Dell Inspiron i3650 is the new flagship desktop with powerful specs for high performance in work and play, including gaming. It comes with the high end sixth generation quad core Intel i7-6700 processor (8M Cache) at 3.4GHz to 4GHz speeds with turbo boost and hyper-threading (4 cores and 8 threads), 16GB dual channel DR3L SDRAM (2 x 8GB) at 1600MHz for superior multitasking that would be plenty for the great majority of computer users, 2TB Serial ATA hard drive at faster 7200rpm spindle speed (but not as fast as SSD) for saving lots of photos, videos and games, and Windows 7 Professional operating system which is known to be the best Pro OS so far + a free upgrade to the latest Windows 10 Pro. It does not include a monitor in the package but a Dell KB216 wired keyboard and a Dell MS116 mouse with a modern and ergonomic design. Radeon HD R9 360 with ATI Radeon X1270 graphics coprocessor and a dedicated 2GB GDDR5 video memory is the integrated graphics card that this unit includes and with a videocard benchmark score of 3025 it can be compared to NVIDIA GTX 465 and 560 in terms of speed and overall performance and will let you play the games of 2015 and 2016 at medium to high settings and good frame rates per second.

Speakers are not included on the case and the quality of sound from the Integrated 5.1 Channel with Wave MaxxAudio Pro will depend on your monitor speakers or the external speakers you choose to get. You’ll find a good range of connectivity ports and options on this machine, including a  DVD+/-RW Tray Load Optical Drive to read and write to DVDs and CDs, 802.11bgn WiFi + Bluetooth 4.0 at 2.4GHz, an HDMI output, an older style VGA output, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 4 x USB 2.0 ports, 5-in-1 Media Card Reader, an Audio Combo Jack, a Line in/out and Microphone Port, Network Port and DC power. Black and red Dell Inspiron i3650 weighs 16.5 pounds and measures 13.78 x 6.06 x 11.13 inches, is just a regular computer case with usual size and weight and the focus here is on high performance. Intel i7-6700 has a very impressive Passmark benchmark score of 9983 (almost 10,000!) as of today and with 16GB memory you’re in for a treat if you will be running the most demanding software. There is no SSD but a very large 2TB size mechanical drive and you can install an SSD as it is easy to open the case and with the prices coming down too. 802.11bgn WiFi is not the latest ac technology but offers good enough wireless connection and Bluetooth is 4.0 and not the latest 4.1 but these are not really major cons. We quite like that it comes with Windows 7 Pro pre-installed and that it gives you the option to upgrade to Windows 10, giving you a bit of flexibility there. Price is right and you’re getting awesome value for money here, we quite like this model and highly recommend it.
