Toshiba Satellite C75 17.3 inch High Performance Laptop

Very recent release Toshiba Satellite C75 is a 17.3 inch laptop with high end Flagship specs and features for improved performance, speed and ease of use. It includes the Broadwell ultra low voltage dual core Intel i3-5005U processor (3MB cache) with a Passmark score of 2893 at fixed 2GHz speed without turbo boost but with hyperthreading to handle four threads in parallel, 6GB DDR3L SDRAM memory at 1600MHz for multitasking power, 750GB SATA hard drive at 5400rpm spindle speed as large amount of storage, the latest Windows 10 64-bit operating system with faster boot ups than before and some user friendly features you will enjoy. This is a power efficient system with a January 2015 release ultra low voltage CPU with a Thermal Design Power of 15 watts so the 4-cell lithium ion battery will give you an easy 6 hours for things like video streaming or web browsing. 17.3 inch TruBrite TFT HD+ screen has 1600×900 pixel resolution which is pretty much the minimum acceptable resolution for a 17 inch machine but adequate- you will experience decent picture quality. Graphics card is the integrated Intel HD 5500 (mid-range Broadwell), there is a high definition webcam with TruTalk dual microphones on top of the screen to chat live with friends and family and taking still photos as well and reasonable stereo speakers for good quality audio.

Black Toshiba Satellite C75 has a solid plastic chassis that looks metallic and quite a modern design, weighs 5.7 pounds and measures 16.2 x 11 x 1.04 inches- average weight and thickness for a large 17.3 inch machine. For connectivity it comes with an Optical DVD SuperMulti Drive to write and read CDs and DVDs in various formats, as well as wireless internet connection with 802.11bgn WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, an HDMI output to connect to an even larger display like your HDTV, a USB 3.0 port, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet with RJ-45 connector, 6-in-1 Memory Card Reader, a Headphone/Microphone jack and an Audio-out port. Keyboard has nice to touch keys, feels very comfy and good to type on, 10-key numpad makes it easier to enter numeric data and the small touchpad with separate left and right buttons is responsive. 750GB size hard drive offers lots of storage space for a lot of multimedia including videos, songs, photos and regular files. The Intel i3-5005U can handle all of your daily tasks as well as more complex stuff including office and multimedia software, multitasking of demanding apps but for advanced gaming you need to look elsewhere as the built-in Intel HD 5500 (which is better than both the Intel HD 4000, 4400 and 5000) will let you play the games of 2015 and 2016 at only low settings and resolutions. This is one of the better 17.3 inch machines you can get in the 4-500 dollar price range and if you won’t be using the computer for heavy gaming, then you can easily consider it.
