vizio s2121w-d0 2.1 sound stand with integrated subwoofer

VIZIO S2121w-D0 2.1 is a great low-cost sound stand with built-in subwoofer. Vizio has some great quality sound bars on the market with designs that you can put your TV on top of them. This one comes with a range of features and connectivity options, including Bluetooth and optical inputs with a fair price.

The construction is solid plastic, which makes it sturdy enough and you can put up to 55 inch televisions on top and can support approximately 60 pound weight. In addition to the 3 inch drivers it has 5.25 inch subwoofer. It produces up to 101db of great quality clear sound with less than 1% harmonic distortion and has the power to fill a room as an all-in-one audio solution- optimised for smaller rooms. It fits media centres and custom built-in cabinets due to its smart shape. Vizio is built strong and ideal for carrying 23 to 55 inch class HDTVs on top.

It has an angled shape for greater stereo separation, wide sound stage for an immersive experience that delivers, offers premium audio with leading audio technologies built-in: DTS TruSurround, DTS TruVolume, DTS Studio Sound and Dolby Digital so every source comes across as clear. It is quite easy to use and versatile as a single cable connects the sound stand and TV for a quick set-up and all cables are included. Built-in Bluetooth makes wireless audio streaming from tablets, smart phones or PCs easier than ever even when your TV is off or you can use it as a stand-alone stereo to fill any space with awesome sound. It offers full range of sound from high to low with very solid mid-range and booming base with a built-in subwoofer to add rich bass getting to low frequency responses like 55 Hz.

Black Vizio 2.1 Sound Stand weighs 10 pounds and has the measurements of 21 x 15.5 x 3 inches, so it has that compact form factor an can be used underneath the TV, in media cabinets or other places. It is low cost for its solid build and great features- although having a plastic housing, is well-built. It offers great highs and lows without even needing the subwoofer, has a nice and functional remote control, DTS technology and Bluetooth. The default bass setting is a little higher then what it should be (but a few customers find the bass to be quite impressive) and doesn’t have a clear LED display like some other models do but it doesn’t take long to work things out- how to use it but there are no sound user presets- customisation.

For how much it costs, it wins on design, performance, inputs, quality of build and hardware as well as features. You should not be misled by reviews that seem to compare this inexpensive unit with a $400 Sony for example. It saves on space and offers a convenient way of experiencing great sound to go with HDTV’s decent picture. You can make bass/treble adjustments through the remote, has a built-in internal subwoofer and comes with powerful sound technologies like DTS Studio Sound. It sounds better as a Bluetooth speaker but does offer good value sound stand for movies and TV as well. Overall great value for money and highly recommended if you have limited amount of money to spare for a powerful sound stand.
