VIZIO E320-B2 720p 60Hz LED TV

Vizio E320-B2 is the 2013 release 32 inch full array LED-backlit TV with 720p high definition resolution, 200,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 60Hz native refresh rate. Being a certified refurbished unit it comes with 90 days warranty, has 2 x HDMI ports and a USB port to connect to and from other HD devices. It would be suitable for any room of your house, perhaps other than the main large living room due to size of screen 32 inches is actually 31.5 inches measured diagonally. In the box you will find the E320-B2 LED TV, remote control and 2 x AAA batteries.

Vizio E320-B2 looks good with the slim side profile, simplistic and almost borderless design, sleek base and a very slim 0.39 inch frame, also maximising space for a larger screen size TV. It weighs 13.5 pounds and has the dimensions of 28.58 x 16.96 x 2.48 inches without stand. You can either put it on a TV table or on a wall as it is VESA wall mountable. Full array LED backlit means you get much better uniformity of light as the LED lights are located behind the whole display and this contributes nicely to the superior and more responsive picture with more consistent and rich colours, fine details and very sharp clarity, no dark spots and helps save on energy bills- this is an Energy Star 6.0 qualified television with the 50% more efficient LED technology used in E series (than the regular CCFL)- the operating power consumption is only 30 watts. It seems to be quite a user-friendly TV that is very easy to set-up, offers decent immersive sound (for such a budget thin TV) is achieved by the two integrated speakers and DTS Studio Sound which is virtual simulated surround sound offering clearer dialogues, deeper bass and higher frequency detail.

Vizio E-series E320-B2

It offers up to 178 degree vertical and horizontal viewing angles- IPS display panel and you won’t have any problems with motion blur- performance is reported to be very good. The stand is a little unstable as there are only two screws for the base at the back but it is stable backward and forward, make sure the metal flip at the bottom of the centre pillar is well assembled to the bottom- this is not a major issue if you don’t move the TV around often. You’ll find great technology despite its low price and it is lowered even further by the fact that this is a refurbished unit but it comes with only 2 HDMI (for showing videos from your laptop or Chromecast) and 1 USB 2.0 ports if you will be connecting many devices and is a 720p resolution TV- not the highest definition and not 1080p Full HD resolution, not a biggie if you’re not streaming HD or BluRay, and obviously no 3D or Smart TV features but has game mode setting for easier gaming. Other connectivity options include 1 x Component, 1 x Composite- shared with component, RF connector for internal tuner, an Ethernet port. You may already be aware that Vizio televisions are made by Sony so it is not no-name brand that many people might assume, it is a good brand and you’re not likely to have any complaints.
