VIZIO D24h-C1 is the brand new modern design D series 24 inch 720p high definition resolution LED TV offering sharp and clear images. Due to its size, design and low price it is suitable for use in your bedroom, dorm room or kitchen as the extra TV and offers great value but please note that this is a regular HD TV as on such small display you will not see the difference between a Full HD and HD picture and it doesn’t come with Smart TV features.
Vizio D24h-C1 is 23.54 inches measured diagonally, weighs 7.2 pounds and measures 22 x 4.4 x 15 inches, looks stylish and elegant with its narrow 10mm frame, thin profile and new slim base. Razor LED backlit means the LED lights are distributed across the entire display for enhanced light uniformity, brilliant picture quality and clarity, up to 720p HD resolution for this small screen size means you get to experience the finest details of clear images and it even has smart light sensors that change according to the ambience lighting to achieve the optimal brightness. Advanced virtual surround sound seems to be impressive via the integrated DTS Studio Sound and two front bottom stereo speakers so the sound is loud and clear for properly audible dialogues and whether you will need a sound bar or any other external sound device- considering the size and price point of this TV will be up to you and there is a good range of compatible Vizio home theater sound bars you can choose from.
You can connect your other entertainment devices via its single HDMI port and single USB port and view photos or stream videos from the internet- hook up your smart phone or laptop without any disappointing results but if you are going to use your TV for gaming, this is probably not the right one for you. What you have here is a small screen home TV with a simplistic yet unique modern design that offers decent picture and sound, to be used like an extra set in your kitchen, lounge or bedroom. It is an Energy Star qualified unit with a super low estimated annual energy cost of $5 (the range is between 9 and 19 dollars for similar 24 to 29 inch TV’s) and you get excellent customer service from the team at Vizio if you need any assistance with set-up, connection or any other issues. So unless you need a larger display set than 24” or you need Smart TV and gaming features it appears to be a great little TV with superior LED technology, amazing clarity and decent sound offered at a very reasonable price.
