Toshiba Satellite Radius 11 L15W-B1120 Convertible Touchscreen Laptop

Toshiba Satellite Radius 11 L15W-B1120 is a new convertible touch display notebook that can be used in different modes around its 360 degree rotating hinges- goes from laptop to tablet in a flash. It offers powerful performance with a Haswell Pentium processor, adequate RAM and 128GB Solid State Drive- suitable for both work and entertainment and can handle day-to-day tasks easily but not so much the latest games or very demanding software. Radius 11 L15W includes the fourth generation quad core Pentium N3540 processor (2MB Level 2 cache) at 2.16 to 2.66GHz speeds with turbo boost but no hyper threading, 4GB DDR3 SDRAM to multitask smoothly, 128GB SSD instead of a standard much slower HDD that adds to its overall snappiness and Windows 8.1 operating system for the time being and you can download the new Windows 10 soon in Summer 2015 for free and we expect it to be much more user friendly. Pentium N3540 has the Passmark benchmark score of 1812 as of today and the Thermal Design Power of 7.5 watts, it is obviously faster than previous Intel Atoms and can be compared to the AMD Kabini A6-5200.

11.6 inch LED-backlit diagonal HD TruBrite touch display with a max screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and the integrated Mobile Intel HD graphics (Bay Trail) coprocessor offers sharp and clear image, responsive multi-touch function and will let you play just the not so demanding older game titles like World of Warcraft fluently and at lower settings. Apart from the touchscreen to use more in tablet mode it has the regular full-size keyboard without the numeric pad but a decent touchpad. Modern patterned light satin gold finish Satellite Radius 11 weighs 2.9 pounds with measurements of 7.80 x 11.40 x 0.86 inches- lightweight and compact but not as slim as regular tablets, lithium ion battery gives you around 4.5 hours battery life on average. It has a fanless, sleek and lightweight design, works quietly, is power efficient and easy to maintain. Due to size and form it doesn’t have an optical drive but comes with a good range of connectivity options such as the 802.11bgn wireless, Bluetooth 4.0 to connect to other Bluetooth compatible devices and peripherals, a USB 3.0 port to transfer data quicker, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port to connect to an external monitor or big screen HDTV, Media Card Reader, Microphone jack, stereo speakers and a webcam with built-in microphone.

Toshiba Satellite Radius 11 L15W-B1120 Convertible LaptopToshiba Satellite Radius 11 L15W-B1120  (PSKVUU-00E00Y) is the mobile and versatile hinge-rotating convertible touchscreen 11.6 inch computer for everyday things and not the very complex software or games- great value in a compact machine that gives you the portability of a tablet with the power of a proper 11.6 inch laptop at quite an affordable price considering its power and performance of quad core Pentium CPU, 4GB RAM and most importantly the 128GB SSD that greatly improves the overall performance and boot-up speeds and by which your data will be less exposed to damage. It is naturally not as mobile as a tablet but you’re getting the tablet and laptop in one and can also be used in stand and tent modes depending on what you’re doing and when you change modes it changes system settings such as smart-locking feature of the keyboard and you won’t need any additional apps for transition between different modes. It doesn’t come with much junkware that you need to uninstall and if you fancy having a machine you can use as tablet and laptop with enough power for things like web browsing, word processing, spreadsheets, playing songs, streaming videos and that kind of stuff then this is a great convertible to consider but if you will be running demanding software or advanced games then you need to look for alternatives with Intel i5 and i7 processors on Amazon through the same product link below.
