SkyTech Shadow is a late 2016 release powerful gaming desktop computer with higher technical specs that make this machine a decent powerhouse for mainly gaming and other demanding or daily tasks. It comes with an end of 2012 release 8-core AMD FX-8350 Vishera Black edition processor with 8940 CPU benchmark points, at 4.0GHz speed which makes it equal to the latest and fastest 6th generation Intel i5 processor, 8GB DDR3L SDRAM for more than adequate multitasking efficiency of several apps and programs, 120GB Solid State Drive rather than a regular mechanical SATA drive which offers a lot more speed and snappier performance overall including faster boot-ups and shut-downs plus the 1TB Serial ATA HDD at 7200rpm rotating speed and 64-bit Windows 10 Pro operating system. The graphics card is the impressive GTX 1060 with a 3GB dedicated GDDR5 memory and 9029 video card benchmark points (faster than the GTX 970) which makes it one of the most powerful GPUs on the market- listed as number 11 at the moment. So you will experience much smoother and faster gaming performance and 4K encoding, and it is Oculus and HTC Vive capable. There is no junkware installed that you need to get rid of so it will run smoothly and quickly from the start. The keyboard included is not the best or the most ergonomic, has smaller keys and doesn’t have the best feel for typing but is fine.

You can connect it to up to 4 monitors, and the monitor is not included in the box as this is a regular desktop machine, not an All-in-One, but a keyboard and mouse combo is. It is Wi-Fi ready (you get a dongle rather than an internal wireless card), includes a 24x DVD±RW Optical Drive, a dual-link DVI output, 3 x Display Ports, an HDMI output, 7 x USB 2.0 ports and 2 x USB 3.0 ports. You will play the latest and most demanding games of 2015 and 2016 at the highest settings and resolutions possible and at high frame rates per second, without encountering any problems. You have the 8GB memory and a total of 4 memory slots if you need or wish to upgrade for more multitasking power, just make sure you get DDR3 and at 1866MHz. The case is modern and easy on the eyes- aesthetically pleasing and the unit runs very smoothly and relatively quietly and stays cool thanks to the powerful cooling system even when you’ve been gaming for hours- you will only hear little humming (so it is not dead quiet) and nothing at all if you have the audio on and you have the best quality sound card for your pleasure when gaming or watching movies. For all that you’re getting, with all the top of the range specs and features, price tag seems to be rather low and SkyTech is a reputable company for such machines.  It is assembled with great quality, branded components (motherboard, memory, 500-watt high-performance PSU- power supply and more) in the United States and you’re offered one year of parts and labor warranty as well as tech and customer support for the life of the product.
