Samsung UN32J4000 32-Inch 720p LED TV

Samsung UN32J4000 is a 32 inch LED-backlit HDTV as part of the 2015 release J4000 series with 1366 x 768 native resolution, 16:9 cinematic aspect ratio and effective 60 CMR (Clear Moving Picture resolution) refresh rate, beautiful vibrant colours offered by Wide Color Enhancer, great impressive surround sound without smart TV or 3D functionalities. It comes with 2 HDMI ports and a USB 2.0 port to view your multimedia content directly on TV screen, a Component and a Composite In (AV) to interface lower res sources, an RF in and an Optical Digital Audio Out. You’ll find the TV itself, arc feet stand, standard remote, the power cable and a User Manual in the box and E-Manual is also available online.

Black Samsung UN32J4000 has a 31.5 inch screen measured diagonally, weighs 8.2 pounds (8.4 lbs with stand) and measures 29.3 x 17.1 x 2.7 inches (29.3 x 18.2 x 5.9 inches with stand), has a black arc feet stand that adds to the TV’s modern appeal and is 200 x 200 VESA wall mountable. Wide Color Enhancer Plus will improve the colors help produce realistic color reproduction and give you a better picture experience overall even with the non high definition stuff. CMR of 60 is pretty good for a TV of this size and low price level so with action movies and sports motion blur will be minimal (distortion on moving images will be reduced) thanks to the decent refresh rate and processing speed and the LED backlighting helps with your overall experience of clear moving picture. The USB 2.0 port offered at the rear of the TV is not just for still photos and audio either, you will also get to view movies when you plug your content into the TV through this port. HDMI port allows you to connect your computer and other devices and experience great quality sound and video via a single HDMI cable (dual HDMI to connect HD sources).

Samsung UN32J4000 32 inch 720p LED TVSound quality is decent for a budget TV thanks to the Dolby MS10 DTS Premium Studio Sound 5.1 that decodes DTS-encoded content such as Blu-ray revealing distinct disconnected sound data channels in that content to offer you a great immersive surround sound through the built-in 2 x 5W (total of 10W) full range down firing bass reflex speakers and with the optical digital audio output provided you can easily connect the sound to an external advanced sound system. It comes with an Electronic Channel- Program Guide, includes Closed Captioning and the OSD- on screen display languages are English, French and Spanish. As an Energy Star qualified unit the maximum power consumption is 40 watts with an estimated annual energy consumption cost of only 6 dollars so it is more energy efficient than similar competitor models. This is not a Full HD TV that supports 1080p resolution but quite honestly you really can’t tell the difference between a normal FHD and HD on TV’s with screen sizes of less than 40 inches. It is just a good quality HDTV with decent picture and sound quality and lacks the Smart or 3D features at this low cost price point but will you really need them? If you don’t have very high expectations and looking for a good value TV for money you really can’t go wrong with this Samsung.
