Conclusion: HP Pavilion comes with 8GB memory, that is great for being able to run multiple tasks smoothly and can be expanded up to 16GB if you are a very advanced user in need of very large capacity RAM and 2TB massive hard drive storage for those that save a lot of multimedia files- songs and videos on their computers, and 7200rpm speed is quite all right for the desktop’s price level concerned and you’re also getting 6 months of 25GB Cloud based online storage via Dropbox. Although it has the previous and not so popular Windows 8.1 pre-installed, the first thing you should do is to download the latest Windows 10 free of charge off the internet- Microsoft website and enjoy its newer features like Cortana personal assistant, Windows 7-like Start menu and Edge browser- reports are positive so far (at least better than Windows 8). Cyberlink Suite and a month trial version of Microsoft Office 365 are pre-installed and there is no mention of an anti-virus or much of junkware so you probably won’t need to worry about removing much to get better performance. AMD A8-6410 is similar to a regular Intel i3 in overall performance and you should have no problems with your daily multimedia , Office or internet tasks. So overall this is a decent desktop workstation that seems to be really good value for money.
