LG Electronics 32LB560B is a 32 inch high definition 720p resolution 60Hz refresh rate (equal to LG’s MCI rate of 120) LED TV with adequately sharp picture and less motion blur in action movies and sports, with an image aspect ratio of 16:9, decent contrast and also a game mode making it a reasonable choice for a budget gaming TV. It doesn’t come with 3D or Smart TV functions, so not integrated wireless, streaming content from the internet or smart apps here. It is just a good quality low cost TV from a trusted manufacturer (one of the top TV brands- LG) and is offered at a reasonable price.
LG 32LB560B has 0.4 inch bezels (thin border around the display), is a reasonably slim TV at 2.2 inches and 32 inches is actual 31.5 inches measured diagonally. It weighs 13.7 pounds and measures 28.8 x 17.0 x 2.2 inches without the stand and 28.8 x 19.0 x 8.2 inches with stand. It is a nice looking TV that would be suitable for bedrooms or even small living rooms and you can mount it on a wall and it is VESA 200 x 200 compatible. Effective MCI- Motion Clarity Index of 120 that is equal to native 60Hz refresh rate may appear small at first but it is the regular refresh rate that seems to be sufficient for most stuff and has 720p rather than 1080p resolution but again being a 32 inch TV you will not notice the difference in sharpness or image quality for screens smaller than 39-40 inch, image is bright and clear and motion blur is reduced on this TV and it gives you the opportunity to customise different picture elements through the Picture Wizard.
This is a LED backlit TV so you’ll experience much nicer image rendering, better colour range, improved dynamic contrast and less power usage (also with smart energy saving features) than the LCD panel TVs and the CCFL technology. On the day of this review, it has an average of 4.5 out of 5 stars (out of 52 customer votes) and the reviews appear to be mainly positive and a great percentage of customers are happy with the product overall. It has 2 x HDMI ports, 2 x USB ports, 1 x Component, 1 x Composite, 1 x VGA, 1 x RF in as connectivity options- simple but adequate for what this TV is. You’ll see great quality image with better colour, sharpness and brightness and less input lag from a gaming input device thanks to the game mode. It is an Energy Star qualified TV that consumes 25-30% less energy than if it was conventional/non-Energy Star and will save you on energy whether it is on sleep, idle or on modes.
Going through tens of customer reviews, LG 32LB560B seems very easy to set-up with no complicated smart TV menus and apps to play with and will sync with your universal remote and cable connection very easily. It has more stable legs than previous models and the base looks modern and nice. As small cons, this LG TV does not come with optical audio output but RCA inputs if you will connect a sound bar and sound bars don’t normally have RCA inputs and USB drive plays sound and photos, but not videos. Many people agree that LG makes the best televisions in the world, for excellent picture and sound quality, performance, design, ease of use and set of features and this one is no different, don’t be misled by its competitive price and you may even get better specs on the paper from no name brands at this low price level. You will also get good customer support and assistance when or if you need it. Although it is not listed as IPS panel, viewing angles are reported to be great- sharp and clear with vibrant colours.
