Lenovo Thinkcentre M700 Desktop Computer
Black Lenovo Thinkcentre M700 is a business style desktop computer with a very tough military-grade construction, compact size, modern connectivity options, a powerful i5 processor and a good size SSD storage. So the technical specs include a fast and a powerful sixth generation quad core Intel i5-6400T processor (6MB cache) at 2.2GHz speed up to 2.8GHz speeds with turbo boost and no hyper-threading (4 cores and 4 threads), 128GB Solid State Drive with enhanced speed and performance, 4GB DDR3 SDRAM memory which is adequate for multitasking efficiently and that can be expanded up to 32GB for all the multitasking power you want and Windows 10 64-bit Home operating system.
Black Lenovo Thinkcentre is a compact desktop that measures 7.2 x 7.05 x 1.36 inches- is just 1.36 inch thin and that weighs 8.5 pounds, you can put it on or under your desk and will occupy very little space. It comes with a good range of connectivity options including two USB 3.0 ports (one of which is an always on port for charging) and a Headphone / Microphone input combo (two 3.55 mm jack ports as you can see in the photo) at the front and four USB 3.0 ports, two display ports as monitor outputs (you just need to use adapters for DVI and HDMI connections), a headphone jack and 10/100/1000 Ethernet LAN RJ-45 connector at the back. It also includes the 802.11ac variety wireless with Bluetooth 4.0 to connect to Bluetooth enabled devices wirelessly, but not with an Optical DVD Drive.
This is not a gaming machine but more for work, study and light entertainment, without a powerful dedicated NVIDIA graphics card but the low-end Intel HD 530 GPU with shared memory that is about 25% faster than Intel HD 4600 GPU you may be familiar with. Intel HD 530 is a fairly decent one for an integrated graphics card that can run the older titles fluently but the more demanding titles of 2015/2016 at reduced settings. It also includes the standard Intel HD Audio but the sound performance will depend on the speakers’ quality- on the screen or external speakers. There is obviously no monitor included but a standard keyboard and mouse that do the job.
This is a capable compact desktop that can handle both the basic tasks like running Microsoft Office, email, streaming videos and playing songs and can even perform the demanding stuff like running multimedia programs thanks to the Skylake Intel i5 processor but generally speaking it is more for those that want something fast and powerful for work and play. 128GB SSD on this unit is good for both speed and performance, is not the fastest but is much better than a mechanical drive and for extra storage you can connect an external one to one of the six USB ports. It is very easy to set up and use like a straight plug-and-play computer, is very fast with a modern advanced quad core i5 processor and Solid State Drive and is built to last with a sturdy heavy-duty construction. Overall it is a good value value compact desktop PC for the price level concerned.
