Lenovo Ideacentre 300s Slim Desktop

Lenovo Ideacentre 300s doesn’t have a monitor included but a wired Lenovo AccuType keyboard that enables accurate and comfy typing experience and a matching wired mouse with precision control. It has an integrated DVD player, 2 x USB 3.0 ports at the rear, 4 x USB 2.0 ports (2 rear and 2 front), 802.11ac Wireless LAN for fast connection and large coverage anywhere in your house, 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet, Bluetooth 4.0, an HDMI port, the older style VGA port (no DVI so you need a HDMI to DVI cable), 7-in-1 Media Card Reader that supports SD, SDHC, SDXC, MS, MS Pro, MMC, MMC Plus formats so you can connect a variety of peripherals without any problems. At the price level it is quite a powerful system that runs smoothly and quietly, handles Windows 10 (with the new familiar Start screen, Edge browser, Cortana personal assistant and extra security against nasty threats) very well with the Haswell Intel i5 and 8GB memory and 7200rpm speed isn’t so bad at all- sure it is not like SSD but runs snappier than 5400rpm that you see on a lot of modern computers- even on entry level 21.5 inch Apple iMac desktops. It can be set up to be your main entertainment for internet, video, audio and gaming but you do need at least a mid-range dedicated graphics card for advanced gaming as the Intel HD is good for older titles at higher settings and new more demanding ones at lower settings even though the CPU is powerful enough to handle extreme gaming. You’re getting Lenovo quality and innovation, functionality and features at a low entry level price here and we certainly think this is a very good value computer overall, if you will not be using it for extreme gaming and you can appreciate that it won’t be possible at the low price concerned.
