Lenovo Flex 3-1580 15.6 inch Convertible Notebook 80R4000XUS

Lenovo Flex 3-1580 (80R4000XUS) is the new slim and lightweight 15.6 inch convertible 2-in-1 laptop with modern features including an ultra low voltage dual core i5 processor, longer battery life, more advanced 802.11ac wireless and good size Solid State Drive at an affordable price. You will experience decent performance overall in your daily tasks as it is quite all right technically speaking with the Skylake Intel i5-6200U processor at 2.3-2.8GHz speeds with turbo boost and hyper threading for 4 threads and benchmark score of 3939, 4GB DDR3L SDRAM which is just enough for some multitasking power (can be expanded up to 8GB), 128GB SSD for snappiness and responsiveness overall and the ability to boot up and shut down faster which is also the case for the latest 64-bit Windows 10 Pro operating system that starts up and resumes from hibernation fast and is easy to use, has more integrated security and more apps to make your life easier. You may think this is a mid-range priced machine but remember that convertibles cost much more than regular machines as it gives you flexibility in terms of design and the fact that you will not need to get an extra tablet.

Lenovo Flex 3-1580 15.6 inch Convertible Laptop 80R4000XUSIt has an attractive design, weighs 4.63 pounds and measures 15.2 x 10 x 0.87 inches for easy portability and the long battery life of up to 8 hours in theory from its 45WHr lithium polymer battery. 15.6 inch LED-backlit anti-glare multi touch display has the regular high definition resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels- is not Full HD but clear enough, has 16:9 cinematic aspect ratio and the TN (twisted nematic) panel despite being a convertible to be used in different modes (laptop, tablet, tent and stand for different ways of engaging) so we’re not sure how good the viewing angles are. Integrated Intel HD 520 graphics performs similar to GeForce 820M with a videocard benchmark score of 761 and handles games of 2015-2016 at low settings and resolutions. It doesn’t include a DVD Optical Drive but 802.11ac WiFi for better coverage and speed, Bluetooth 4.0, Ethernet and RJ-45 connector, an HDMI output, 2 x faster USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port,  Audio Combo Jack and 4-in-1 Media Card Reader that supports SD, SDHC, SDXC and MMC formats. Sound is more than reasonable with the Dolby Home Theater and very decent speakers and the built-in webcam is a standard 0.3M one for casual live chats. As long as you will not be editing videos or multimedia and playing the most demanding games at higher settings then this is a good ultraportable laptop and tablet in one for both work an entertainment. It is offered with one year standard parts and labor warranty by Lenovo.
