HP Stream 11-r010nr 11.6 inch laptop

HP Stream 11-r010nr is an 11.6 inch small and low cost, yet smart and sleek laptop that is powerful enough for day to day tasks and activities with the dual core Braswell Intel Celeron N3050 processor at 1.6GHz speed up to 2.16GHz with turbo boost but no hyper threading (two cores, two threads), 2 GB RAM DDR3L SDRAM for a certain degree of multitasking, 32 GB eMMC flash storage for fast boot ups and loading of files than regular mechanical drives plus 1TB capacity Cloud based OneDrive storage for a year for free so you can access your files at any location and the latest Windows 10 operating system. It comes with a year subscription of Office 365 Personal that includes 60 Skype minutes and you can use all that Office offers: Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and more, offline and online. This is a budget computer you may use for internet surfing, Word and Excel, video playback that supports FHD resolution and simple photo editing so you will have no problems with most of the usual home or school usage but there will be times you’ll experience lags or freezing if you try and perform heavy graphics or other demanding tasks- is good for anyone that needs or wants a compact, modern, functional and inexpensive Windows machine. We have reviewed the 13.3 inch K2L95UA#ABA model with Windows 8.1 previously and it is offered as an option on the same Amazon product page as well.

HP Stream 11-r010nr 11.6 inch notebook

HP Stream has the 11.6 inch diagonal WLED-backlit high definition anti-glare non-glossy display with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution. Intel HD Braswell graphics that is integrated into the CPU is adequate for regular multimedia capability you can expect on such a budget machine. For connectivity you have the regular but fast 802.11bgn wireless, a USB 2.0 port and a USB 3.0 port (both on the right side), a full-sized HDMI output and an Audio-out port. Linear carbon finish and HP gradient HP Stream looks sleek and stylish, is lightweight at just 2.6 pounds and is only 0.72 inch thin- being built as a very portable unit (measures 11.81 x 8.1 x 0.72 inches) and is offered in four different colours of cobalt blue, violet purple, horizon blue and orchid magenta. Free Microsoft Office 365 Personal is a great offer but you need to activate it within six months of your purchase of this PC. It works very quietly at all times and stays cool thanks to its innovative fanless design- no noisy fans or any other hardware that can cause noise and heat. It has a nice and compact size for portability and comfortable computing when you’re out and about and good battery life of around 6-7 hours from its lithium polymer battery on video benchmark tests, comfy and ergonomic keyboard with large and nicely spaced out white keys (without numpad because of compact size but a large and functional touchpad without left and right buttons) and a good set of features but obviously not a super fast performance although adequate (remember this is quite an inexpensive laptop), great for students or anyone that needs a basic but decent laptop. *Intel Celeron N3050 score 809 on the Passmark benchmark as of today and the Thermal Design Power -TDP is only 6 watts which certainly helps with longer battery life.
