HP Pavilion Gaming 15.6″ Laptop w/ Ryzen 5 4600H & GTX 1650

HP Pavilion Gaming 15inch Laptop, 15-ec1010nr

Shadow black HP Pavilion 15-ec1010nr is a 15.6-inch slim and modern gaming laptop with the powerful Ryzen 5 4600H processor, NVIDIA GTX 1650 graphics card, 512GB Solid State Drive, 8GB DDR4 SDRAM and Windows 10 Home operating system.

The quarter two of 2020 release six-core Ryzen 5 4600H is a very powerful processor (8MB L3 cache) with a base speed of 3.0GHz that moves up to 4.0GHz with the turbo function. And with a solid PassMark benchmark score of 14830 it can handle pretty much anything you throw at it for work and entertainment. It is not just a gaming machine and if you want a powerful work laptop or something to perform complex multimedia editing, this HP Pavilion will work very well.

The typical Thermal Design Power is 45 watts and you can’t really have high expectations in terms of battery life from its 3-cell, 52.5 Wh lithium ion battery. 8 GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4 SDRAM at 3200 MHz is an adequate amount of memory to have some apps and browsers run at the same time without any delays or freezing. You have both a powerful processor and a high level graphics card for your gaming, multimedia performance and multitasking needs. 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD is both a good amount of storage space and is much faster than a standard HDD hard drive. You will be able to open files, start up and shut down the machine very quickly.

15.6-inch diagonal Full HD, anti-glare, micro-edge, WLED-backlit display has the 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution, 250-nits brightness and an IPS panel with a 178-degree viewing angle. The dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 is an advanced gaming GPU that is based on Turing architecture with a 4GB GDDR5 dedicated memory. It has a HP Pavilion Gaming 15inch Laptop, 15-ec1010nr, GTX 1650 & Ryzen 5 4600Hvideo card benchmark score of 7895 at the moment and performs a bit faster than the older GTX 1050 Ti. It will let you play a lot of the latest games at high resolutions and settings.

The sound quality with the Bang and Olufsen Audio and HP Audio Boost is more than acceptable through the dual speakers. There is no Optical Drive and the connectivity options include the 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth 5.0, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, a USB 2.0 Type-A port (Sleep & Charge), a USB Type-C port, a USB 3.0 port, a multi-format SD Media Card Reader, and a headphone/microphone combo. HP Pavilion 15-ec1010nr weighs 4.37 pounds and measures 14.17 x 10.12 x 0.93 inches for a fairly slim and portable design. This seems to be a great value brand new release gaming machine, that also comes with a year of standard limited warranty in case of any problems or issues.
