Please note that this is a refurbished set by the Amazon Renewed and their 90-day warranty and it works and looks just like brand new. It comes with a large 23.6-inch Full HD LED screen, wireless keyboard and mouse, a brand new Periphio webcam with a 1080p Full HD resolution and a new 16GB external USB flash drive. It is a pre-owned computer that was inspected thoroughly and cleaned by the Amazon qualified suppliers. You will get at least 80% capacity of the original battery. It may be sent in a generic box and the accessories are sometimes not original but they work as normal.
The quarter two of 2014 release 4th generation quad core Intel i5-4590 processor (6M L3 cache, 4 cores, 4 threads without hyperthreading / SMT) works at 3.30GHz speed that goes up to 3.70GHz with the turbo boost function. It offers a fast and reliable performance with a Passmark benchmark score of 5310 for an advanced processing power, and the typical TDP- Thermal Design Power is 84 watts. The DDR3 RAM at 1600MHz on this tower PC can be upgraded up to 32GB on the 4 DIMM slots available. And you have a decent size 512GB Solid State Drive with both the speed and performance.
Windows 10 Professional is pre-installed on this HP machine and comes with the additional business and security functions. It doesn’t have the bloatware that you won’t need and would have to uninstall. Connectivity options include a DVD Optical Drive, a USB WiFi adapter, onboard gigabit network adapter, 6 x USB 2.0 ports, 3 x USB 3.0 ports, 2 x Display Ports with multi-stream4, a microphone/headphone combo, an HDMI output, the expansion slots, power connector and RS-232 serial port. Intel HD 4600 has an enhanced decoder for 4K UHD videos and quick Sync encoder as compared to the Intel HD4000 and includes certain modifications and performs 60% faster overall and 30% in gaming. It is more or less equal to NVIDIA GT 620M/630M and the AMD Radeon HD 8650G. It has a video card benchmark score of 627 and you can only play the older games at lower settings and resolutions. You can use it for software like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator comfortably thanks to the fast i5 processor and 16GB memory.
The HP 800 G1 Desktop has the integrated speakers but they are not the best quality. It is quite nice to look at for a refurbished computer, works quietly and well for daily and demanding work except for advanced gaming or multimedia editing. You can use it for surfing the net, doing your school assignments, saving photos, listening to music, watching movies and Youtube videos. You will get a 90-day technical support for whatever problems you may have with the computer.
