HP Chromebook 14-NA (14a-na0023cl) is a modern, entry-level 14″ WLED-backlit Full HD laptop with the Intel Celeron N4000 processor, 64GB eMMC flash storage, 4GB memory and Chrome operating system for entry level computing like internet browsing, video streaming, word processing and playing the Chrome games.

It is a low cost machine with the reasonable, low-end to mid-range specs for you to perform your daily work on the user-friendly interface of Chrome OS that feels like using the most preferred browser in the world, Chrome. You’ll find a variety of online and offline Google apps you can download free of charge. Some will replace what you’re used to on a Windows machine, like the Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

The quarter 2 of 2018 release dual core Intel Celeron N4000 processor (2 cores, 2 threads) has a base speed of 1.1GHz that goes up to 2.6GHz with the Burst function. The average CPU PassMark benchmark score of 1453 is more than adequate for daily use, especially on a Chrome system. Same goes for the games as you can play pretty much all the Chrome games with this processor and the built-in Intel HD 600 graphics card.

4GB LPDDR4 SDRAM offers sufficient amount of multitasking power for having some apps and browsers open simultaneously. 64GB eMMC internal flash is not much as a local storage space, but you will probably be saving your files on Cloud and access them whenever and wherever you have internet access. Connectivity options include the WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5, a SuperSpeed USB Type-A port, 2 x SuperSpeed USB Type-C ports at 5Gbps signaling rate, a microSD Media Card Reader, a headphone/microphone combo jack and a 45W USB Type-C power adapter.

14-inch WLED-backlit anti-glare, micro-edge Full HD display with the IPS panel has the 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and 178 degrees of viewing angles horizontally and vertically. It has the HP WideVision high definition webcam with the built-in dual array digital microphone for taking still photos and live webcam chats. Sound quality is decent with the Bang & Olufsen Audio through the dual front facing speakers when you’re watching videos or listening to songs.

HP Chromebook 14-NA comes with the full-size island-style keyboard with good key travel for typing comfortable and a large HP Imagepad trackpad that supports multi-touch gestures. It has the natural silver base and mineral silver cover, is a sleek and modern laptop that you can take wherever you go, as it weighs 2.9 pounds and measures 12.82 x 8.6 x 0.7 inches. The TDP is only 6 watts for the Celeron N4000 processor and the 2-cell 47 Wh. lithium ion battery that lasts a good 7-8 hours in practice and you don’t have to recharge it all day long. It comes with a year of limited hardware warranty and good customer support. We think that this recent release modern Chromebook is pretty good value for the dollar.
