HP 14-an013nr 14 inch Notebook, AMD E2, 4GB, 32 GB eMMC Review

14 inch HP 14-an013nr Laptop with AMD E2-7110

HP 14-an013nr 14-Inch Notebook

HP 14-an013nr is a 2016 model affordable 14 inch laptop with a Ful HD non-touch display with IPS panel,  the reliable power of the latest modern quad core AMD E2 processor and large memory for handling mainly your simple daily tasks- both work and play, especially when you’re on the go. Its seems to be a good alternative to a small tablet and if you’d rather have a proper Windows laptop with a full size keyboard with even a 10-key numpad, then you may want to have a look at it closer. Technical specs include the Carrizo-L AMD E2-7110 QC processor (2MB cache) at the fixed 1.8GHz speed without turbo boost or hyperthreading, with a Passmark benchmark score of 2036 at the moment, 4GB LPDDR3 SDRAM onboard memory for enhanced multitasking capability at this low price point, 32GB eMMC hard drive and the latest 64-bit Windows 10 Home. Flash drive is faster than mechanical drive but does not offer much in terms of storage space and you will be making use of Cloud more or add more memory or connect external storage through the USB port- you can choose mechanical HDD or SSD as they have been coming down in price. Turbo silver HP 14-an013nr has textured linear grooves with horizontal brushing, seems to be average weight for a 14 inch machine as it weighs 3.86 pounds and is fairly slim and compact with measurements of 9.5 x 13.6 x 0.9 inches.

14 inch diagonal UWVA Brightview WLED-backlit FHD screen has the IPS panel for up to 178 degree viewing angles and 1920×1080 pixel resolution for clearer, crisper and sharper images with better contrast and you will enjoy your videos, photos and web pages more. This is also helped by the decent sound quality delivered by the DTS Studio Sound and stereo speakers and you even have a better quality high definition webcam for your Skype chats. Although it is a daily things portable computer at an affordable price, it appears to be rich in features, such as the May 2015 release quad core AMD E2 with twice the Passmark points as the other models at this price level (they normally have Intel Atom or Celeron 3050), 4GB memory, a Full HD display with IPS panel, faster 802.11ac variety wireless rather than the slower 802.11bgn, Bluetooth 4.0 and a USB 3.0 port for faster data transfer. It has a lithium ion battery that lasts up to 5 hours and 15 minutes on average as the TDP is specified as adjustable between 12 to 15 watts. Graphics card is the basic but adequate built-in AMD Radeon R2 so you can’t expect to play advanced games as the AMD E2 is suitable only for the smooth running of things like internet surfing, video streaming, typing up documents or playing light games like World of Warcraft or a small percentage of the current Windows games and only at low settings and resolutions.
