You can either connect it to your home or office wireless network (it has the WPS button for easy Wifi setup) or use the ethernet cable provided to connect it to the back of the modem (wireless or wired internet and wired power outlet connection) and you do need internet connection to work with this device.
You will find clear instructions on the User Manual so you will not get confused or lost. No matter how far away from the camera, you can zoom in, move the camera, change light settings and day and night, record (works very well in night vision), send images, manage the audio by using the app. You can download the app for both Android and Apple devices and there are no charges for using the app or camera and you get great customer support that is often very easy to get on the phone and they are quick to help. Image is 1 million pixel HD quality of 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and 25 frames per second with great clarity of H.264 video compression format, vibrant colours and decent quality 3.6mm lens. Video can be recorded only to a microchip SD card that is supported for 32GB and not on Cloud (no remote recording). In the box you will find the Fujikam camera, power cable, ethernet cable, a comprehensive user manual and wall bracket. It works great and is suitable for both home and office but is designed for indoor use only and it isn’t water or weather proof but you can place it near a window (not at night). Best thing about it is the price as compared to competitor cameras as it costs less than others and for all the features it offers- it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to call it the best security camera for the price.
