Electro Boss 28 Bottle Thermoelectric Wine Cooler
Electro Boss 5335 is a compact, stainless steel, thermoelectric wine cooler and beverage fridge with a 28 x 750 ml regular Bordeaux shape and size bottle capacity. It is available in silver or black with black model roughly 16 dollars cheaper on the day of this review.
You’ll find six detachable chrome wire racks in this unit and you can fit in four regular bottles on each one of them comfortably. If you want to put larger or weird shaped bottles you can certainly remove a shelf or two. This is a compact single zone cooling unit with a blue-backlit LCD display panel with an electronic touchpad with temperature up and down and light buttons.
You’ll find a white LED light inside at the top to help you choose a bottle without having to open the door and let the cold air escape. There is no compressor in this wine refrigerator but a thermoelectric system (100-120 Volts and 60 Hz) that will help reduce your energy bills. Good quality thermoelectric also means the unit is vibration free and works with almost zero noise at all times, as there is no compressor doing cycles but a quiet motor and fans.
Silver Electro Boss Wine Cooler looks very sleek and modern, will add to the decor nicely, weighs 35 pounds and measures 20.8 x 17.5 x 27.5 inches. The glass and stainless steel door is reversible and you can choose to open it from the left or right with the recessed handle on the side, depending on where you’re planning to put it in your kitchen, bar area or wine cellar.
You can set the temperature between 52 and 64 degrees Fahrenheit (11-18 degrees Celsius) and this is a widely accepted optimal range for storing both white and red bottles. The temperature you set it to is mostly maintained thanks to the double fans inside and even air circulation. Wine is ready to serve pretty much straight out of the fridge. It is good for use in the United States and Canada as well as those countries that use 120 V single-phase voltage with 60 Hz frequency.
It is an ETL (meets the minimum requirements for product safety) and CE (Conformité Européene) certified product. CE means it conforms to the standards set out in the European Economic Area for health and safety as well as the protection of the environment. It comes with one year of limited warranty by the manufacturer- Electro Boss. It is not a particularly cheap product and that makes it best suitable for those that care about storing their precious wine bottles in the optimal environment.
