Dell Optiplex 780 MiniTower Desktop PC - Intel Core 2 Duo E7600

Silver and black Dell Optiplex 780 Mini Tower weighs 18 pounds and has the measurements of 17 x 7.40 x 16.10 inches. There is no monitor in the box but a USB keyboard and mouse and the overall graphics performance is provided by Intel GMA 4500 graphics card and Dynamic Video Memory Technology 5.0 and sound by High Definition Audio. GMA 4500 can’t decode Blu-Ray videos fluently and performs as well as some of the entry level dedicated graphics cards of the same era so it is not great for demanding games and you can’t really expect it to be at the price level. With the ‘Advanced Digital Media Boost’ you’ll experience decent video and sound processing. Connectivity options include Ethernet RJ-45, DVDRW optical drive, 1 x eSATA, 8 x USB2.0 ports (2 front and 6 rear), a VGA port, a DisplayPort, 2 x 3.5mm audio line-in, 2 x 3.5mm audio line-out. 4GB should be quite sufficient for everyday use of a simple computer and the maximum supported RAM size 8GB. The CPU comes with a fan and heatsink as cooling unit and has a TDP- Thermal Design Power of 65 watts (lower power equals to lower CPU heat) and as an Energy Star qualified desktop it will not consume a lot of electricity. Warranty on the original model was three years and it will be one year on this one, which is pretty good considering it is almost always one year on all current computer models.
