Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series Laptop i7348-3286SLV

Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series i7348-3286SLV is a sleek, elegant and premium looking and feeling 13.3 inch IPS touchscreen 2-in-1 laptop that converts to a tablet with an integrated stylus conveniently and has the solid power and performance of the energy efficient 5th generation ultra low voltage mid-range Intel i5 processor and connection speed of the faster 802.11ac wireless- Dell Inspiron comes with the dual core Intel Core i5-5200U (3 MB Cache) at speeds between 2.2GHz and 2.7GHz with turbo boost and hyper threading to utilise the CPU better, 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3L SDRAM at 1600MHz to run a few apps and browsers simultaneously and there shouldn’t be any major lags thanks to being attached to the more advanced Broadwell CPU, 500GB hybrid Serial ATA hard drive at 5400 rpm rotating speed with average speed and size for a laptop but many times more than a regular tablet so you can save all your multimedia content and Windows 8.1 64-bit English operating system that will soon be Windows 10 if you choose to download it when it becomes available.

13.3 inch clear and vibrant Trulife LED backlit HD IPS touchscreen with a 1366 x 768 pixels max screen resolution, 178 degree wide viewing angles and quick and smooth 10-finger capacitive responsive touch function so you can swipe, scroll and zoom comfortably, Intel HD 5500 graphics that lets you play the latest 2015 games at lower settings and resolutions (it is faster than the previous Haswell Intel HD 5000 by about 20-25%), good quality sound via MaxxAudio and stereo speakers even though they are small due to size of the system. Dell Inspiron i7348-3286SLV weighs 3.7 pounds and measures 0.75 x 8.74 x 12.99 inches.  2-in-1 form is actually 4 modes of laptop, tablet, stand and tent giving you the convenience of performing your different tasks in different modes, whether it is watching movies, editing photos, word processing or sharing your work with someone else. 43 WHr 3-Cell lithium ion battery offers long battery life so you can expect around 5-6 hours even at maximum brightness, ergonomic backlit keyboard without a 10-key numeric pad but a large precision touchpad to navigate the Windows 8 apps and functions easily and the stylus for drawing and editing photos or taking notes. There is no optical drive but 802.11ac Dual Band 2.4 and 5GHz, 2×2 wireless + Bluetooth 4.0, 1 x USB 3.0 port to do large file transfers much faster, 2-in-1 SD media card reader, an HDMI port to connect to a larger screen and FastAccess Facial Recognition.

Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Series i7537T-1122sLVConclusion: Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series i7348-3286SLV has a very sturdy build and a premium feel to it with a nice quality frame material- is tested for durability including battery, keys, touch buttons, power and multimedia buttons and hinges and harsh heat conditions up to 149 degrees Fahrenheit. It comes with a 1Yr Mail-In Warranty and 30 day trials of McAfee antivirus which I would definitely swap with a free AVG or Avast and Microsoft Office. It performs quite well overall but will come down to what you need a laptop/tablet for, as everyone has different needs and great if you want a flexible build machine that can be used in different modes with a good set of features and a compact, economical yet powerful 2015 release two cores and four threads Broadwell i5 processor with the ability to handle regular multimedia and office tasks as well as the more complex and demanding apps and multitasking capabilities and a Thermal Design Power- TDP of 15 watts that helps with longer battery life. It runs fast overall thanks to the 5th generation i5 processor but not as fast if it had an SSD rather than standard HDD. Sound could be louder but you have to think in terms of the size of the unit and speakers too so it is fine. It is really easy and comfy to type on its keyboard and trackpad has a user-friendly design. A few customers even commented that this machine changed the whatever bias they had against Dell brand computers, so that is probably a great thing.
