It includes a high-end GTX 1050 GPU with a dedicated memory of 4GB and a video card benchmark score of 5229 to let you play the latest games of 2016 at high settings and good frame rates per second (at 1080p resolution, at 60fps and more but not maxed out settings). The system will use the built-in Intel HD Graphics 630 with a benchmark score of 1114 that shares memory with the CPU for regular multimedia tasks and switched to the GTX 1060 for heavy gaming and multimedia stuff. Chiclet gaming keyboard is nice to type on with tactile keystrokes, has the aura RGB lighting (full RGB keys are hard to come by) and scissor-switch keys with a 2.5mm key travel distance and four lighting customizable control zones to improve your gaming.

Asus Rog Strix has a sleek, modern and aggressive style with a metallic finish- is uniquely sophisticated, weighs 6.6 pounds with the measurements of 10.7 x 16.3 x 1.2 inches, so it is fairly slim and portable for a 17-inch gaming machine that can be considered as more like a desktop replacement unit. Battery life is up to 4-5 hours on a single charge of its 4-cell 48Whrs lithium ion battery, and around 2- 2.5 hours when gaming as this is a powerful gaming laptop with very decent multimedia specs after all. It includes a variety of connectivity including the DVD+RW Optical Drive for games and software from discs, advanced 802.11ac WiFi 2×2 with two antennas for faster and much more stable internet connection and Bluetooth 4.1,  2 x USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port, 1 x reversible USB Type-C Gen 2, an HDMI output that supports 4K for external displays, Ethernet with RJ-45 connector, Media Card Reader for SD and MMC cards and a HD webcam on the top bezel.

You have the option to purchase it with a hybrid drive of 1TB SATA + 256GB SSD (GL753VE-DS74) or the same two options are available on the 15.6-inch display (GL553VE). There is also an M.2 slot included and you can install an SSD yourself easily. The GTX 1050 offers up to 75% better overall performance than the previous GTX 960M and you can comfortably play all the classic and modern games at FHD resolution and high frame rates per second, superior sharp image clarity, deep contrast and color accuracy and no glares as the display has a matte finish. And you are able to adjust the fan speeds with the ROG-exclusive Cooling Overboost that gives you a nice cooling efficiency. Overall this is a very capable gaming computer with a rather sophisticated styling.
