Metallic ASUS ROG GL552VW-DH71 is a reasonably priced powerful 15.6 inch gaming laptop with decent set of features and specs, like the modern NVIDIA GTX960M graphics card, IPS Full HD display for clearer and sharper images, latest quad core Skylake Intel i7-6700HQ processor (6MB cache) at 2.6 GHz speed up to 3.5 GHz with turbo boost and hyper threading for four cores to handle eight threads in parallel, massive 16GB ultra fast DDR4 RAM at 2133MHz (2 x 8GB sticks) to multitask smoothly, 1TB SATA HDD storage at 7200rpm rotating speed and 64-bit Windows 10 operating system with already many positive reviews out claiming it to be better than Windows 8.1 and to be similar to Win 7 with additional useful features. This is a rather powerful and stable machine with high end features, that can handle even the hardest tasks with ease.

You’ll hear crystal clear high fidelity sound with the Asus SonicMaster and AudioWizard offers five presets and useful audio settings. It has a 1.2 megapixel HD webcam that can be used for gaming with pals as well as chatting live on Skype.
Silver metallic ASUS ROG has a beautiful design, weighs 5.6 pounds with dimensions of 10.10 x 15.10 x 1.30 inches. Seamless one piece keyboard is ergonomic, red backlit, has a 10-key numeric pad, 1.88m key travel and feels quite responsive to your fingers. Although we don’t have the official battery duration, the 48Whrs 4-cell battery can not be expected to last very long for gaming and multimedia purposes. This model is quite easy to upgrade with the slide-off panel that lets you put a larger HDD storage than 1TB, M.2 SSD for overall speed or more RAM if anyone needs more than 16GB? There is no SSD pre-installed but the 1TB as lots of storage space and at 7200rpm speed that makes it faster than 5400rpm. Intel i7-6700HQ benchmark score is 8054 as of today and along with 16GB and with the dedicated GPU there is a lot you can achieve so this laptop is too powerful for those that want to do their simple daily tasks but at least they can do things faster and smoother. And it is ideal for those that want to multitask a few complex apps and browsers, run heavy multimedia or other software and the only limitation is the mechanical hard drive and if it bothers you, SSD is easy to put in through the M.2 connector.
