ASUS M32CD-AS31 Desktop Computer
ASUS M32CD-AS31 desktop first appeared on Amazon.com at the end of May 2016, with a very capable Skylake processor, a large hard drive at 7200rpm and plenty of memory, 802.11ac wireless and very low price making it one of the best selling desktops at the moment- offers great value for money. It comes with a pretty decent sixth generation Intel i3-6100 processor at 3.7GHz speed and a benchmark score of 5486 as an indication of its ability to handle very hard tasks and just by seeing the i3, rather than i5 or i7, don’t assume this is a slow computer. Memory is more than adequate with its size and speed- 8GB DDR4 RAM at 2133Mhz and you will not see any delays or freezing- on a single slot and you can add another 8GB as it can support up to 16GB. We would have liked to see a Solid State Drive here but then it wouldn’t really be possible at the low price point and what you have instead is a large 1TB SATA HDD at faster 7200rpm (no SSD which you can easily put in as there are two additional 3.5 inch drives) and the operating system is the 64-bit Windows 10. There is no monitor and just like most other desktops it comes with a wired USB keyboard and mouse combo and there is no dedicated graphics card but the onboard Intel HD 530 because this is not designed as a gaming machine.
Intel HD 530 will let you run the older and easier games like Minecraft or World of Warcraft at higher and newer games at lower settings and resolutions with 20-30 frames per second and you are welcome to install a dedicated card into the PCI-E X16 slot available but you may also need to upgrade the existing 350 watt power supply- PSU. You have the ASUS SonicMaster Audio and AudioWizard but will need to connect external speakers as there are no built-in speakers as far as we’re aware or use headphones. Black Asus M32CD desktop weighs 20.3 pounds and measures 6.9 x 16.08 x 14.96 inches, average size and weight and will need a fixed spot at your desk. It naturally includes a Super Multi DVD RW as a desktop PC and 3 x USB 3.0 ports at the rear, 2 x USB 2.0 ports at the front, IEEE 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth 4.0, Gigabit Ethernet with RJ-45 connector, a 5-in-1 Media Card Reader, an HDMI output, a VGA output to connect up to two screens and Headphone/Microphone Combo. You will be able to run the most demanding graphics or other software easily and if you will be using this desktop for simple daily tasks then it will be performing those super quickly. Asus is one of the best Windows computer brands and we are actually surprised they are offering these high specs at such an affordable price so the price to performance ratio is quite impressive here and anything other than advanced gaming will be fine on this machine.
