It is suitable for those that will use the computer mainly for online stuff like the majority of us- web surfing, video streaming, emails and social media and want something portable and economical (low price tag and power efficiency) and not for those that want or need Windows OS. So any students, home users or anyone that value portability over power should consider this low cost Chromebook and there is no doubt Asus is one of the best brands for computers. C201PA-DS01 model has the same of everything except for the 2GB RAM.

It has a chiclet style non-backlit keyboard without the numpad on the side due to size restrictions of being just a 11.6 inch display but a large touchpad that supports multiple gestures while being portable and an accurate and comfy typing experience. Up to 13 hours of battery life is really good but will depend on how you use it. The CPU and the integrated GPU are good enough for light Chrome-like games but not for advanced Windows games and this is a Chrome system that will not run Win games anyway.
Conclusion: Asus Chromebook C201PA-DS02 (and C201PA-DS01) is a great little 11.6 inch notebook if you don’t want to spend a lot on a computer. Chromebook’s are no longer only for net surfing, there are plenty of offline apps you can use it with. There is a reason for Chromebook’s being so popular- they are fast, very easy to use and serve the purpose of great percentage of people owning a computer and at a very low price. Rockchip may be a processor you may have heard for the first time- it is neither Intel nor AMD but super energy efficient processor at just 3 watts per hour that performs well on a light and low-cost laptop, actually claimed to be better than Intel Atoms. 16GB eMMC flash drive is good for faster start ups and loading of things but don’t expect it to be like a normal SSD and due to small size you will rely on Cloud and external storage as is the case with pretty much all the other Chromebook’s.
