The dual core Intel Celeron N processor works at a speed of 1.90GHz that will be fine for the day to day tasks like word processing, internet browsing, video streaming and some basic gaming. 4GB DDR3L memory will be enough for having 3-4 browsers open while running an app or two- adequate multitasking power at this price level. You can save many regular and multimedia files on the 320GB HDD local storage which is not as fast as the SSD but does the job. At this very low price point of this laptop, SSD would have added to the cost.
Windows 8 comes pre-installed on this machine and has a user-friendly interface of apps and you can switch to a screen similar to Windows 7 easily. It just takes some getting used to, then you’ll like it. Connectivity options include 802.11bgn wireless, Bluetooth 4.0, 3 x USB 2.0 ports, a VGA port, LAN for wired Ethernet connection, a Headphone/Microphone Combo port, an HDMI output and an SD Memory Card Reader. There is no DVD Optical Drive and you can easily connect a cheap external drive via one of the USB ports or Bluetooth.
11.6″ non-touch high definition widescreen LED-backlit Display has the regular 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and TN panel. You have the built-in Intel HD graphics for the usual daily media tasks and playing simple games at acceptable settings and resolutions. Sound quality is adequate through the built-in stereo speakers.

It is just a low cost entry-level laptop that works just fine for the daily regular stuff like web browsing or watching Youtube videos.
