Acer Aspire V 15 V3-572G-543S 15.6 inch FHD Laptop

Platinum silver Acer Aspire V3-572G-543S is a sleek and modern 15.6 inch Full HD laptop as part of the Acer V 15 series with very decent technical specs, up to 7 hour battery life, a 5th generation Intel Core i5 processor, ample space of storage, large RAM for multitasking, fast 802.11ac wireless and pretty much all the current connectivity ports that any- including advanced computer users would need or want. You’ll get proper real performance in a slim and relatively portable form for both work and entertainment without having to pay a lot. Acer Aspire V3-572G is offered with the 2015 release dual core Intel i5-5200U processor (3MB cache) at 2.2 GHz speed up to 2.7GHz with turbo boost and hyper threading which allows 2 cores to handle 4 threads in parallel, 8 GB DDR3L SDRAM (2 x 4GB occupying both of the slots) and is expandable up to 16GB but very small percentage of customers would need that much, 1 TB SATA 5400 rpm as spacious hard drive which means it will be highly unlikely to run out of space + Acer BYOC- Build Your Own Cloud so your cloud space will be as large as you choose and 64-bit Windows 8.1 operating system.

15.6 inch Full HD Active Matrix TFT Color LCD ComfyView technology widescreen CineCrystal LED backlit non-touch matte display with 1920 x 1080 pixels max screen resolution and 16:9 cinematic aspect ratio which is much better than regular HD that you’ll find on a lot of mid-range systems and NVIDIA GeForce 840M graphics card with 2GB dedicated video memory that performs better than most of integrated graphics cards including Intel HD 4600 and the older discrete GT740M and many of the 2014 games can be played at 720p HD resolution at medium to high settings but games like Crysis 3 at lower settings so it is more like a light to mid-range gaming and multimedia editing are what you can expect. Sound quality should be reasonably good for a mid-range 15.6 inch laptop (reported to be crisp and clear) through the Optimised Dolby sound enhancements and two integrated stereo speakers for movies, songs and entertainment. It has a Skype certified 1280×820 webcam with an integrated microphone for live video chats with high pixel density at 24 fps.

Platinum silver Acer V3-572G-543S has the measurements of 15.02 x 10.08 x 1 inches and a weight of 5.6 pounds- a little above average weight and fairly slim and portable, helped with up to 7 hours of battery life from the 6-cell 4700 mAh lithium ion battery. It has a backlit keyboard that is comfy to type on with a numeric keypad on the side and Acer Precision touchpad. It doesn’t come with a DVD drive but a good variety of modern day connectivity options including Secure Digital (SD) card reader to transfer photos from digital cameras, 802.11ac Wi-Fi with MIMO technology (Dual-Band 2.4GHz & 5GHz) for up to 3x quicker wireless internet, Bluetooth 4.0 to work with other Bluetooth enabled devices wirelessly, Gigabit Ethernet with RJ-45 connector for fast wired internet access, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x USB 3.0 port with up to 10 times data transfers, an HDMI port with HDCP support and a VGA port to connect to older and newer style monitors and your HDTV via single HDMI cable for sound and video.

Acer Aspire V 15 V3-572G-51DR 15.6 inch LaptopConclusion: Acer V3-572G-543S (NX.MPYAA.002) has the latest generation Intel i5-5200U processor, awesome image quality with Full HD screen with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and dedicated NVIDIA 840M graphics. 5400rpm Serial ATA hard drive is the weak link on this computer but the 1TB size is great, 7200 rpm would have been nicer and SSD even much better for speed and overall snappier performance. Faster 802.11ac wireless is up to 3 times faster than the regular 802.11bgn that you’ll find on many other laptops and you have Bluetooth by default and Gigabit Ethernet for wired connection. DVD drive is not needed by most as you can download pretty much anything from the internet but if you need it you can grab a low cost external optical drive with the purchase of this PC. Up to 7 hours of battery life from its lithium ion battery is advertised and you should get at least 5-6 hours on average in practice. You’ll find some bloatware or junkware on it so if you’d like more speed and better performance you probably want to uninstall those you will not need through the control panel. It appears to be pretty good value for money but don’t think of it as an advanced gaming PC just because it has a dedicated graphics card and i5 CPU as you need at least a mid range dedicated GPU for that purpose but for light to medium level gaming (some of the current titles at lower settings) and everything else including a variety of office and multimedia tasks- net surfing, photo editing, video streaming, word processing, spreadsheets and for anything more demanding, it is quite capable.
