Acer Aspire E 15 E5-574G-52QU 15.6 inch FHD Notebook

September 2015 release Intel i5-6200U with a Passmark benchmark score of 3899 at the time of this review is able to handle regular multimedia and office tasks very smoothly without delays or freezing and much more demanding apps and multitasking, also helped with the generous 8GB memory. It doesn’t have a DVD Optical Drive but a variety of ports for your peripherals including Gigabit Ethernet LAN and RJ-45 connector, 802.11ac wireless with MU-MIMO technology for up to 3 times faster connection, Bluetooth 4.0 SD- Secure Digital Card Reader, an HDMI output with HDCP support, up to ten times faster 2 x USB 3.0 ports (one of them with power-off charging so you can charge your phone when laptop is asleep), a USB 2.0 port and an integrated decent quality HD webcam for Skype chats or to use for business videoconferencing. 4-cell lithium ion battery (2520 mAh) is not removable and offers up to 6 hours of battery life on average use. Cotton white Acer Aspire with stylish textured surface on the top cover and underneath the non-backlit keyboard that makes it nicer to hold and helps avoid scratches, has an attractive design and a smooth and clean look, weighs 5.29 pounds with dimensions of  10.1 x 15 x 1.1 inches- average weight and thickness. Acer True Harmony High-Performance Sound System and two integrated Acer TrueHarmony stereo speakers are good for rich sound with wide range bass, reduced distortion and high volume. Overall performance is very good for both daily and more demanding tasks, it is somewhat restricted by the mechanical hard drive and you can always get an SSD and the new Windows 10 helps it boot up fast but you will get a bit of bloatware you may want to remove. Specs are great the paper and reviews are generally positive.
