Acer Aspire ATC-780-UR61 Desktop PC

Acer Aspire ATC-780-UR61 is a modern, sleek and functional mid-range desktop computer as part of the TC series for general daily use and heavy multitasking of multimedia and other tasks. Technical specs include the sixth generation quad-core Intel i5-6400 processor (6MB cache) at 2.7 up to 3.3GHz speeds with turbo boost and no hyperthreading (4 cores and 4 threads), 8GB DDR4 memory at 2133MHz UDIMM for smooth and effective multitasking power for whatever you’re doing, 1TB SATA3 HDD at 7200rpm mechanical drive and Windows 10 operating system with great new user-friendly features and the Win 7’s familiar Start menu. In the package, you will find the desktop PC, wireless USB keyboard and mouse, power cord and warranty card- a year of standard parts and labor warranty by Asus, as well as a decent toll-free tech support.

Black Acer Aspire with hairline finish weighs 18.43 pounds and measures 17.43 x 6.89 x 15.67 inches- so it is not very heavy or large and you can move it easily on your own. A monitor is not included in the package but you’ll get a USB keyboard and mouse combo. As there is no dedicated graphics card but the integrated Intel HD 530 that will allow you to play the modern games at low to medium settings and is adequate for the smooth operation of general multimedia, even photo, and video editing. And HD Audio of 5.1 channel surround sound support will ensure decent sound as long as you have good quality speakers or headphones. For connectivity, it comes with an 8X DVD-SuperMulti Double-Layer Drive, 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet with RJ-45 connector for wired internet, advanced 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, 3 x USB 3.0 ports (2 at the front), 4 x USB 2.0 Ports, an HDMI output with HDCP support, an older style VGA port, Digital Media Card Reader -Secure Digital (SD) Card and a Headphone/Microphone jack.

It seems to be easily expandable, giving you the ability to increase RAM capacity by adding to the spare slot and to add an SSD to one of the bays provided while keeping your large SATA storage space. It is nice to have a reasonable front panel access so you can easily connect your smartphone, media devices or computer peripherals.  It has a high-end Skylake i5 processor with a benchmark score of 6520 as of now, 8GB memory and Win 10 operating system that starts up and shuts down much faster than the previous versions of Windows and with much more integrated security features against viruses. We like how quiet it runs even under heavy load and the generous amount of connectivity, including 5 USB ports, fast “ac” variety wireless and other modern connectivity options. Although it is very easy to set up as a simple plug in and play unit, you will get a few trial software or junkware that you can easily uninstall and keep the ones you need. Overall this new Acer Aspire is ideal for home office or other business use, college work, all kinds of entertainment except for advanced gaming and anything you want to do and is offered at an affordable price.
