2021 Newest HP Chromebook is an 11.6-inch laptop with an entry level Celeron N3350 processor, 32GB eMMC flash storage, 4GB LPDDR2 memory, Chrome operating system, webcam, good connectivity including the 802.11ac wireless and Bluetooth. The quarter 4 of 2016 release dual core Intel Celeron has an average CPU Passmark benchmark score of 1154 as an entry level processor. It works at the speeds between 1.1GHz and 2.4GHz with the turbo boost function (2MB cache, two cores and two threads without the hyperthreading). 4GB of LPDDR2 high bandwidth memory on this system is upgraded from 2GB and offers sufficient multitasking power to run the browser tabs and a couple of applications simultaneously. 32GB eMMC flash storage is not a lot but you can use the Cloud storage wherever and whenever you have internet access and the 32GB microSD card as a portable storage solution.
11.6-inch high definition widescreen LED-backlit laptop has a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution which will be adequate for such a compact display, even though it won’t be as bright or clear as a Full HD display. There is an integrated 720p webcam with acceptable quality for your live chats with friends and family and taking still shots. Intel HD 500 graphics card has the video card benchmark score of 308 at the moment as a very basic, entry level unit. Combined with the OK processing power of Celeron processor it will be fine for your daily graphics needs when browsing the internet, video streaming and playing the Chrome games as they are hardly demanding.
Gray HP Chromebook weighs 2.98 pounds and measures 12 x 8.2 x 0.7 inches. If you’ve never used a Chromebook it feels a lot like being on the Chrome browser and you’ll be using the online and offline applications provided by Google. Connectivity options include the 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth, 2 x USB Type-C ports, 2 x USB Type-A ports, a Media Card Reader, and a headphone jack.
Please note that it doesn’t come with an optical drive, touch display or a backlit keyboard if you think you’ll need them. You’ll get a NexiGo 32GB microSD card bundle that will come in handy as the local storage is only 32GB even though Chrome OS will not occupy a lot of space and you’ll be relying on Cloud based storage. The typical Thermal Design Power- TDP is 6 watts and the 2-cell lithium ion battery on this small Chromebook should last you up to 9 hours for things like Youtube video watching or word processing. You’ll get a year of limited warranty by NexiPC and you can contact them in case of any problems. NexiPC sells laptops and desktops with the upgraded configurations. They open the original box, test and inspect it and install the upgrades needed. We think that it is a pretty good value Chromebook for the price level.
