Dell Inspiron i5378-7171GRY is a sleek and modern, Microsoft Signature edition 13.3 inch 2-in-1 laptop around a versatile 360 degree rotating hinge, with high-end technical specifications like the last generation i7 processor, a very decent Full HD responsive touchscreen, and great image and sound quality. Technical specs include the 7th generation ultra low voltage dual core Intel i7-7500U processor (4MB cache) at up to 3.5GHz speed with turbo boost and hyper threading for two cores to handle four threads in parallel, the latest 8GB DDR4 memory at 2400MHz (single channel, 8GBx1) that can be expanded up to 16GB, generous size and impressive speed 256GB Solid State Drive and the usual English 64-bit Windows 10 operating system with the best of old and new features. You have the option to get it with i5 CPU and 1TB HDD and/or with dual display dock or triple display dock (for both the i5 and i7 versions) and you will see these options on the product page.

Silver Dell Inspiron i5378 weighs 3.4 pounds and measures 8.85 x 12.75 x 0.76 inches- rather slim and compact for the amount of power it has. There is no Optical Drive included but 802.11ac wireless, the latest Bluetooth 4.2, 2 x USB 3.0 ports (Dual Band 2.4&5 GHz, 1×1), 3-in-1 Media Card Reader, an HDMI 2.0 output, Microphone / Headphone combo and more. 13.3 inch Full HD display with IPS panel Truelife LED-backlit touchscreen has 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and 178-degree vertical and horizontal viewing angles, vivid colors, decent contrast and overall bright and clear image. Here they seem to have focused on giving you more screen space in a smaller space with thinner bezels in this modern design. It comes with the Intel HD 620 integrated graphics card and not a dedicated GPU, and this is obviously not an advanced gaming machine and you can’t play the games of 2016 at high settings and resolutions but the performance is perfectly fine for the usual multimedia tasks. The sound is better than average through the stereo speakers connected to MaxxAudio sound system.

It can be used in four different modes of laptop, tent, stand and tablet modes for different purposes of use, and you’ll get to enjoy the zero image distortion and clear and brilliant picture quality at 178 degree wide angles. Then you have the fully functional high-resolution touchpad that supports multiple touch functions for smooth and easy navigation on Windows 10 apps, and you’ll already be taking advantage of the very snappy and responsive performance provided by the high-end Intel i7 processor, advanced and good size memory and generous SSD. The keyboard feels good to type on, is backlit for comfortable typing in the dark or dim light and doesn’t have a separate numpad. This being a signature edition laptop you will find no junkware that you need to uninstall and it all seems to run rather smoothly, quickly and efficiently. Battery life from its 42WHr 3-cell battery is not the best as you have some powerful specs here and a Full HD touch display that drains the battery a bit but still all right as you won’t get less than 5-6 hours of average use. The seventh generation Intel processors are very new, and we don’t have a lot of information or reviews on this Kaby Lake i7-7500U. Functional, versatile, powerful, fast
