Pros:
The biggest advantage to this unit is that it is totally wire free. So you can free yourself from the hassle of wires and have a very easy installation process.
The cameras are weatherproof so you can use them outside as well as inside in any weather whatsoever, be it heat, snow or rain.
With this system, you absolutely do not need to pay for cloud storage. You can keep rolling 7 days of motion and sound triggered recording for free. Live viewing can happen across any device and at any time and you can record also.
This system is rechargeable. Long lasting rechargeable batteries makes sure to take the costs out of uninterrupted security.
This comes with a smart siren that has a decibel level of above a 100. This can be controlled remotely or when the motion or sound is detected.
There is a 2-way audio system so you can listen in and talk back as required.
You can secure your recording with a USB drive local backup storage option.
Cons:
A small problem in the IOS version of the app that comes along with these cameras is the inability to set the recording duration for some users. This is easily done on the standard Arlo camera system but is very oddly missing from the Pro. A second bug occurs sometimes during low-temperature conditions. The app reports the battery charging has been paused when in fact the camera is actually not being charged at all. But these should hopefully be fixed soon by Arlo very soon.
Overall this is one of the best wireless cameras set available on the market at such a reasonable price and you will be very happy using it to protect your near and dear.
