RCA Cambio W101 V2 is the latest 2016 model basic 10.1 inch 2-in-1 tablet and laptop hybrid that can also be used in presentation and display modes for simple day to day / routine home and office tasks, with a sixth generation Bay Trail Intel Atom processor that is common to most budget priced Windows 2-in-1’s these days and a removable keyboard, for when you’re out and about and not for multimedia editing or playing games- is more like a Windows 10 netbook. It includes the quad core Intel Atom Z3737F processor (2MB cache) with a Passmark benchmark score of around 900 points at up to 1.83GHz speed with turbo boost, 2GB DDRL SDRM for adequate multitasking for a machine this size, 32GB eMMC storage plus you can use the included SD card slot to expand the available storage to 64GB or connect an external hard drive through the USB port or log into OneDrive and built-in Windows 10 Home operating system that takes up about half of the 32GB internal storage. Screen undocks from the keyboard easily to turn into a capable tablet and has an easy to use and clean interface in both modes.
RCA Cambio is a compact 2-in-1 so you don’t have the DVD Optical Drive or Ethernet for wired internet access but a good number of connectivity ports including the 802.11N wireless, Bluetooth 4.0 to hook up with other Bluetooth compatible devices, a USB 2.0 port (many tablets don’t have it), a micro USB 2.0 port, a micro HDMI (use HDMI to miniHDMI to watch videos on a large screen TV), a Headphone and Microphone combo jack along with a rear mono speaker (no stereo speakers here but sound quality is acceptable at this level) and AC Adapter. 10.1 inch high definition screen has the 1200 x 800 pixel resolution and IPS panel for large viewing angles, graphics card is the Intel HD integrated graphics, comes with front and rear webcams- front facing camera for Skype chats and rear 2mp camera for mainly taking photos on the go and mono speaker for reasonable sound quality. Black RCA Cambio is compact and lightweight- 2.1lbs weight and 10.2 x 6.5 x 1.15 inches, has a lithium ion battery that lasts 6 hours on average in light use at reduced screen brightness but will be less around 4 to 4.5 hours if used for heavier tasks, has a non-backlit keyboard and a touchpad that supports multiple gestures. For the very low price point, it runs well overall for daily tasks and you will be fine with most things and it is best you don’t try and push it too hard for playing demanding games.
